Ruijun Shen is a curator and artist. She is born in 1976 in Guangzhou. Shen graduated from Guangzhou Academy of Fines Art in 2000. From 2002 to 2010, she studied and lived in the U.S. She received her Master of Fine Art degree from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (2007) and Montclair State University (2004) in the U.S. She taught as an adjunct professor in Montclair State University. She received a fellowship from Carmago Foundation to work and research in France for half year in 2008. Her work were shown in the U.S., Italy, China, and Korea. She was awarded Joan Mitchell grand and Toby Devan Lewis Fellowship in the U.S.. Her work is reviewed by Washington Post. "Shift: In China, Made in America", one of the exhibitions she curated won "2011 National Gallery Development Support Plan Project Award from the Ministry of Culture of the P.R.C. She is dedicated to bridging the Eastern and Western culture.
